The National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) of India, in association with the Earth Engineering Center of Columbia University, New York, are proud to announce the 1^st International Brainstorming Workshop on Waste to Energy in India, on August 24-25^th, 2012.

The workshop will be held in Mumbai and will cover a variety of subjects, from the current waste management system in India and its overall impacts, to the potential for the application of WtE technology for solid waste management.
