2nd SYNERGIA Forum

2nd Forum of SYNERGIA was hosted in Athens, on Thursday 10th of June 2010 at the National Hellenic Research Foundation , entitled “Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Management: Recycling and Energy Recovery”.
The Forum focused on the important issue of Recycling and Waste-to-Energy and provided a broad scope on the subject of Municipal Solid Waste Treatment. The main objective of the Forum was to bring together all the people involved with the issue and at the same time to inform in depth the Greek society about the crucial subject of Municipal Solid Waste Management.
Between the participants were prominent members of Greek and international scientific community, representatives of local governments and relevant organizations (Ministry of Environment, Energy & Climate Change, Municipalities, Solid Waste Management Entities, IENE, Public Power Corporation, etc.) and also private institutions, companies, consulting offices, academics,politicians.
